There are currently in DragonRealms. I hope their adventures are as big as mine...
Frock? Longcoat? Surcoat? Telo? WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE THINGS?! Well, now that I got to type a sentance in all caps, I'll tell you. Clothing Cote: You may have seen this item in the realms before, however, it's pretty rare. Cote is simply french for "Coat" and the item is a french style jacket. C'est bon, oui?
Frock: There's a pretty big range of things this can be, but in medieval times it would have been a simple dress, probably worn by a peasant woman when she was going to church.
Habit: You've probably seen people wearing holy habits. They're just priestly robes, like Friar Tuck would have worn.
Longcoat: This is a rather stylish sort of trenchcoat, but hard to describe. If you can remember Captain Hook's jacket, then you've got it. Lynx, in the Playstation game Chrono Cross also wears a really nice looking one.
Skullcap: Despite how the name sounds, skullcaps are those little Yamica (I'm not sure exactly how that's spelled) type hats. They fit snugly on the back of your head, and probably were origionally used to cover up bald spots ::grin::.
Surcoat: Surcoats are a type of jacket you wear over your armor. They were for appearance rather than warmth. Weapons
Arbalest: The most powerful type of crossbow, they were pinned to the ground with the user's right foot, mounted with a bolt, and the bolt was cranked into place with a...crank.
Bastard Sword: Not any sort of "bad word," the sword is actually a normal sword, but the hilt is rather long. You can hold it with one hand, or take advantage of the long hilt to hold it with both.
Broadsword: The broadsword had a three-foot long blade, and both sides of the blade were edged. It came to a point at the end, and was wider than a longsword.
Falchion: The falchion, though often debated, can be generally described as a single-edged sword that curves off at the end, much like a machete. However, falchions could have straight blades or rounded ones.
Flamberge: The word flamberge can describe any sword with an irregularly shaped blade, such as a flame shape.
Scimitar: Watch Disney's Alladin. It's the sword EVERYONE uses.
Longsword: A three-foot blade, much like the broadsword, but single edged.
Morning Star: Not the planet Venus, but rather, a mace-like handle, connected to a chain (usually under a foot long) which was then connected to a spiked ball. Ouch!
Telo: It's Gamgweth (the human language) for sword.
